Dr. Dell is leading the establishment of this network. The team has been awarded a Stage 1 SSHRC Partnership Grant, applied for Stage 2 funding, and submitted an article based on this work to CABI One Health for review.

Dr. Dell is Co-chairing the One Health Commission Social Sciences Initiative and founded and Co-chairs the Human-nimal Bond Working Group.

The vision of the conference was to foster a deeper understanding of the intricate connections between humans, animals, and the natural world, aiming to promote harmony, understanding, respect, and mutually beneficial interactions and a sustainable future. Guided by Knowledge Keepers, traditional Indigenous ceremony and knowledge helped direct the conference in a good way from start to finish.
