Dr. Dell has supervised  25+ undergraduate students (from Honours thesis to summer student internships and in a variety of fields, including sociology, criminology, public health and health sciences).

 Dr. Dell is currently supervising numerous Masters and PhD level students in Sociology, Interdisciplinary Studies, Psychology & Health Studies, and the School of Public Health.  She is and currently is or has been on the committee of a dozen+ Master and two dozen Doctor of Philosophy students.  She has supervised 20+ Master level and nearing 10 Doctor of Philosophy level students to completion.

Dr. Dell has supervised nearly 10 (and 1 co-supervision) post doctoral trainees, including a Banting SSHRC (Dr. Holly McKenzie) and a CIHR Patient-Oriented Research Transition to Leadership (Dr. Linzi Williamson) in the emerging areas of therapy dogs and human substance use and service dogs and human mental health.  She was part of a team at the USask Forensic Centre co-supervising Living Skies post-doctoral fellows.

 Dr. Dell hosts various practicum student placements in her office, including  from the Health Studies Program, School of Public Health and the Department of Sociology Certificate in Criminology and Addictions and the Indigenous Justice and Criminology program.  She has completed numerous supervisions and has been the academic advisor for nearly a dozen Masters of Public Health students.

Dr. Dell has been an external examiner for many PhD, MA, MSW, MSc & MEd dissertations & theses.
