2022 Pets in Housing Project: Our Saskatoon Pet Friendly Rental Guide will be of interest to tenants (for example, know your rights, obligations, and how to be a responsible pet caretaker) and property owners (for example, learn how to increase your income potential).
2021 Pets in the Workplace Project: Our infographic on developing a pets in the workplace policy is a summary of a year-long undertaking with a local workplace on updating their policy.
This project is a collaborative effort of and supported by Royal Canin, a division of Mars Petcare, the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, and the University of Saskatchewan Office of One Health and Wellness.
Pet-friendly rental housing is limited in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We know that increasing the amount of pet-friendly rentals is a win for both renter and landlord. Understanding your rights and obligations when renting with pets is an important part of being a responsible pet caretaker. Making your properties pet-friendly is good for business.
Based off the great work of others across Canada, and local partnerships, our renter and landlord guide can help answer your questions and make Saskatoon more pet-inclusive!
